Eric Chen is the founder and creator of the Law Offices of Eric K. Chen. After graduating from Southwestern University School of Law and receiving the John J. Schumacher Scholarship, Eric became a licensed and practicing attorney since 1994 possessing a steadfast dedication to helping all he can. As a professor and doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Eric has been able to use his extensive knowledge in this field to better serve his clients seeking his aid in their personal injury cases, specializing in medical malpractice suits. Eric’s professional experience centers on personal injury law, business litigation, and international corporate law. Eric has had the privilege of representing the FDIC in multi-million banking fraud matters and assisting U.S. and Chinese companies in finding joint ventures and mergers and acquisition partnerships. Additionally, Eric has served as legal counsel for the California Acupuncture Medicine Association (CAMA), California Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CAAOM), and Council of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association (CAOMA). Eric’s professional affiliations include active membership in the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, California Acupuncture Medicine Association, Clarke County Bar Association, Rosemead Lions Club, and finally as the Co-Founder and Vice-President of the Nevada Chinese Professionals and Business Association.
Ms. Xu majored in German in undergrad and graduate school and then graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Ying has been working for the firm since 2007, heading up the California office and primarily focusing on personal injury cases. She has handled many medical malpractice, automobile collision, animal bite, and premises liability cases. Ying has gained valuable family and landlord/tenant law experience in her prior employment at Turek Law Offices and at the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino County. Ying is a proud active member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, American Association of Justice, Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, and Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. In Ying’s spare time, she enjoys family time with her husband and children, cooking, reading, and shopping for antiques.
Glen A Howard was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Resource Management in 1998, he worked as an Executive Consultant to Fortune 500 companies for two years.
Mr. Howard went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2003. Mr. Howard relocated to Las Vegas in 2003 and worked for an Insurance defense rights and Legal Malpractice. He has handled a variety of other matters for his clients, including drafting/revising contractions, commercial and residential real estate transactions, business formations, trademark registration, and litigation.
Hai Ling Chu (Ling) was born and raised in Temple City, CA. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Riverside in 2006 and her J.D. from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2011 after which she was licensed to practice in State court as well as Federal Tax Court. Attorney Chu is focusing mainly in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Tax Controversy, and Business Contracts. She is also the author of multiple legal articles and was named Nevada Legal Elite in 2016.
In addition to her private practice, Ling is also an active member of the Las Vegas non-profit community. In 2014, she received the honor of being named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year from Nevada Legal Services, and she is the sitting Treasurer for the Asian American Advocacy Clinic. In her private life, Ling is an amateur coffee aficionado.
